In 2014 Jacob released his self-titled EP and began touring the southeast and parts of the mid-west to expand his fan base and growing list of supporters. Releasing THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD, his second EP, Jacob is quickly turning heads and further developing his signature country voice and southern rock sound.

At the age of 14, Hunter Callahan first picked up the guitar because he wanted to sound like Guns N’ Roses and AC/DC. “I wanted to be Slash. Probably just about every high school kid with a guitar wants to be in a rock band at some time or another,” states the singer. Two years later, Hunter joined a Southern rock and country band with his older brother. Playing with this group changed the direction of his music, so around the age of 17, Hunter found his niche as a guitarist in a genre of music that was all but dead and gone: The Blues.

“The great thing about Blues music is that it’s so wide open. As a musician, you can say so much while keeping it so incredibly simple.” Drawing influence from artists like B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Hunter worked towards being a master of the guitar.

CAST Engineering Artist Jon Gasque

"Jon Gasque started his love for music at the age of 11 with the Tenor Saxophone. He started playing guitar one year later and realized that jazz and r&b was his "pocket". From Charlie Parker to Eric Johnson, Jon became engulfed in strange sounding chords and melodies and sought after knowing how they work from the inside and out. This led to him attending the Atlanta Institute of Music for two years where he delved further into theory and the complexity of music. Jon moved to east Atlanta in early 2016 and has sense involved himself with session work and teaching lessons"

Gringo Star are insouciant explorers, tossing the paddles overboard and drifting on the currents of their lackadaisical curiosity across a rippling sonic ocean, out to the far edges of rock & roll. Shots pulsing from a vintage Leslie speaker, their guitars, keys and vocals create the psychoactive ingredients of their echo-slathered, doo-wop-indebted indie gems; psychedelic garage bangers, gritty R&B shuffles and spaghetti-western weirdness. Taking cues from Santo & Johnny, The Stooges, Ritchie Valens, Marc Bolan, Percy Faith, Sam Cooke, the men working on the chain gang—uh! ah!—they’re all here, their electric ghosts reaching across time, tapping Gringo Star on the shoulder like the crossroads devil to Robert Johnson, bestowing secrets, passing torches.

At the tender age of 6, Kingfish began playing the drums. Three years later at the age of 9, he took up the bass guitar. At the age of 11, he began playing lead guitar. By the age of 14, he had mastered all three instruments and has added vocals to his ever growing list of talents. Kingfish's guitar influences run the gamut of the Blues from the Delta Blues of Robert Johnson, Elmore James, Muddy Waters, and Lightnin' Hopkins to the electric Blues of B.B. King, Albert King, Big Jack Johnson, Albert Collins, Freddie King, Lefty Dizz, Lucky Peterson, Little Jimmy King and Buddy Guy to the Blues Rock of Lance Lopez, Joe Bonamassa, Eric Gales, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Allman Brothers, Jonny Lang, Steve Marriott, Prince, Michael Burks and so many others. Surprisingly at such a young age, he can play just like his idols and mentors and possesses the additional ability to create a Blues sound entirely his own. It is refreshing to see a young person return to his musical roots and master a genre of music that was created and was popular even before his grandparents’ generation and renew its popularity by breathing new life into the music.

CAST Engineering Artist Ryan Newell of the band Sister Hazel

Sister Hazel is an alternative rock band from Gainesville, Florida, whose style also blends elements of folk rock, pop, classic rock 'n' roll and southern rock. Their music is characterized by highly melodic tunes and prominent harmonies. Most of their songs have optimistic lyrics. The band's instrumentation often features abrupt shifts among electric, acoustic and a cappella, with striking use oftacets. Though often described as alternative, Sister Hazel leans toward an upbeat sound and away from the clashing punkdiscordance often associated with the alternative rock genre. There have been no changes to the band's main line-up after over 20 years, although Dave LaGrande has been touring with them since 2012.

Vee's blasé attitude is right in line with the punk rock ethos that has always guided both her life and music. Though she grew up in a "strict Catholic household," Vee became a Goth, dyed her hair "every color of the rainbow," and went vegetarian — and later, vegan — at a young age. She taught herself how to play guitar simply by listening to albums from Hole, The Cure, and Jane's Addiction, and to this day, cannot read music. As a teenager, she dropped out of high school and moved to England because that's where "all [her] favorite bands were from." When she returned to Canada in her late teens, she formed a rock band called Tuuli and recorded a full-length album and EP. Over the next few years, through her own hustling and hard work, she wrote songs for a Comedy Central series and got a handful of tracks used on a Canadian cartoon show, as well as the hit teen drama television series, Degrassi: The Next Generation.

ROYAL THUNDER are a four-piece rock band based out of Atlanta, Georgia that seamlessly blend the elements of heavy classic rock, 90's grunge, and forward-thinking progressive rock. Propelled by the powerfully emotional voice of frontwoman Mlny Parsonz, the guitar heroics of Josh Weaver, and the dynamic drums of Evan Diprima, ROYAL THUNDER have been described by NPR as “a revved-up Southern hard-rock that howls like Led Zeppelin astride a psychedelic unicorn” and as "magnificently compelling rock music" by Decibel Magazine. Formed in 2004 by Weaver, his brother, and his best friend, the band went through several lineup changes over the years before settling on their current lineup, which also incorporated second guitarist Will Fiore as of 2015. Since October 2012, the band have been heavily touring the world, including full North American and European Tours with Baroness as well as prominent US tours alongside Monster Magnet, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Pallbearer, Enslaved, Corrosion of Conformity, O'Brother and many more. The group have also played high-profile festivals including SXSW, Bonnaroo, Scion Rock Fest, Bragg Jam, Roadburn, and numerous others.  Though they’ve been around for ten years, ROYAL THUNDER seem to have only just hit their stride – the future stands to be even more uproarious than the band’s exciting early development.

Mike Zito is one of those rare artist that can sing like nobody’s business, can write songs that instantly grip you, play one hell of a mean Gulf Coast style guitar and has the stage presence to draw in any audience. Born and raised in St. Louis, MO he grew up listening to Van Halen and Led Zepplin and it wasn’t until later he became interested in the great blues men who were from in and around St. Louis. On his 2011 Blue Music Award nominated CD Delta Groove release “Greyhound” he tells the rest of the story of how things could have been much different. He lived a rugged life much like many great musician endings while his beginning had not yet begun. Homeless, addiction, living the life of a criminal Zito had reached his rock bottom before cleaning up and ending up in Texas to live a sober life still today. It would be fair to say that is the time he draws from that creates all the emotion in his guitar style and singing. In 2009 Zito and Neville won the Blues Music award for “Song of the Year” for “Pearl River” the title track to Zito’s 2009 release. Zito comes armed with raw tone and pure grit that he can turn on a dime into silky smooth guitar melodies but it is the aged depth to his vocal that make Mike Zito stand out.
