Growing up in Griffin, Georgia, Jerry Walker began writing at a very young age. Before long he was playing around with local musicians and forming bands. After finishing college he moved to Nashville to dive head on into music and fell in love with the local music scene.
In the spring of 2006, Jerry recorded his first solo album "Songs From The Attic" with a little help from a few musician friends.
Recorded at Sixteen Ton Studios in Nashville, the album spans many of Jerry's early influences. From Merle Haggard to The Smiths to The Misfits with pinches of New Order, Joy Division, Echo & The Bunnymen and The Replacements, Jerry Walker's music has the ability to reference a multitude of influences while remaining completely original.
